Stockport NHS Foundation Trust has chosen to implement iQemo.
iQ HealthTech are proud to announce that Stockport NHS Foundation Trust has chosen to implement the iQemo electronic chemotherapy prescribing system at Stepping Hill hospital. The project started in November 2018, with a planned go live in early March 2019.
Stockport adds to the growing list of NHS Trusts that recognises the advantages of our safe, simple e-prescribing platform for chemotherapy. Stockport NHS Foundation Trust treats both their own patients and patients under the care of The Christie Hospital in Manchester, in the award-winning Laurel Suite, which provides cancer treatment services for Breast, Lung, Urology and Colorectal Cancers. By adopting the iQemo system, users at the Trust will be able to access a single system to manage both The Christie patients and their own patients.
By using iQemo, Stepping Hill Hospital will now be able to streamline the way chemotherapy is prescribed, dispensed and administered on site. iQemo users can spend more time caring for patients and managing their work loads, whilst keeping all prescription activities in one simple and safe e-prescribing software.
